Bereavement counseling can help if you have lost
someone who has crossed over; ended a long-term
relationship; or have experienced a miscarriage.
Coping with loss is a natural, normal process
that can manifest into depression and isolation
if not treated.
Feelings such as numbness, anger, and/or sadness
can affect your sleep, energy, and overall life
participation. Bereavement and grieving
counseling is the perfect setting for
self-expression—the perfect opportunity to begin
healing.
Because we are all different, the way we react
to loss varies. With that in mind, I adapt my
bereavement-counseling style to your specific
needs. During our time together you can express
your feelings, anger, and/or guilt in a safe,
non-judgmental environment. You can expect me to
listen empathetically and be patient while you
process your loss.
Grieving doesn't have to be a lonely process—not
if you participate in bereavement counseling
sessions.
